My gosh time flies.
I can't believe my blog is still "active".  I haven't been on here in 1-1/2 years.
I'm still making jewelry and still addicted to facebook.
The wedding I mentioned long ago has taken place and all went well.
I hadn't lost as much weight as I had hoped.  Last February I started Weight Watchers with very good results.  I lost 35 pounds last year.  I still have about 15 to go.  But at least I'm on my way.

Not too much else.
I had my very first Craft Fair last November.  It was over the Thanksgiving weekend, which I get off of work the whole weekend.  So me and my two sisters went and set up shop- I sold a few things.  It was an experience.  I might do it again sometime.

July already

You can sure tell summer has begun here in Reno!  What a lot of heat heat heat -- but it's okay, cuz I know it's not going to last forever.
I have been sick since I got back from Kentucky w/ the family.  Some sort of lung inflammation - finally went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotics and an asthma inhaler!  Then -  just when I was getting over THAT -  here come the stupid allergies.  So, now I've got runny eyes, stuffy nose, still a major cough -  I can't wait for this to end!

The trip to Kentucky was a blast - we all had a great time, and we were busy every day we were there.  Of course, we were only there for five days, but still had fun.

 These are just a few pictures of the trip.  I'll add more later.  I think Mom enjoyed so much showing her daughters where she grew up.  I know we all enjoyed it.  The only thing I didn't like was the stupid plane trip.  I hate flying.  But, how can you get anywhere if you don't??

Two days before vacation

In two days, on Monday the 13th of June, the three sisters and I, along with my Mom and Dad, are traveling to Kentucky.  It will be my first trip there.  It's where my Mom grew up and she wants to show us her house she grew up in and other things.  We will  only be there for five days, of course two of those days will be travel days, but I think we'll have a lot of fun while we're there.
I  can't wait.

Vacation Starts at 8pm tonight!

I have been waiting for this vacation for sooooo long!  It seems like a very long time since I last went on vacation.  I'll be leaving tomorrow to start my drive back down to So. Cal to see the fam -  My niece gets married on Friday, the 20th, then a jewelry party at my sister's on Sunday, then back home Monday.  I can NOT wait!  It's going to be soo fun!!

Got my sister's wedding set made.  I met her yesterday for lunch and gave her the items.  She absolutely loves them!  I'm so happy about that.  She way overpaid me,  I told her a certain price and she paid me $60 more than I asked for!  She said if she had bought them in a high-end store it would've cost her at least that much.  So that was nice.

Haven't been on for a while, my blog, I mean.  I am addicted to the stupid Facebook and that's where I spend most of my spare time.  Not even getting my jewelry made!
I have exactly one week to get my sister's necklace and earrings made for her daughter's wedding.  DRAG.
I guess I better start managing my time better.

April Fool's Day!

Well,
I have never done a lot on April Fool's Day, I guess I'm just not that imaginative.  I had (have?) a friend who used to get her hubby good every April 1.  I just couldn't believe the stuff she did to him!  But I have never been really into it, I guess  . .  .
I have been on my diet pretty much EVERY DAY since Jan 1 and have lost 14 lbs.  I'm happy about that, but wish I could lose faster.  My niece's wedding is less than 2 months away now and I was hoping to be down at least 30 by then --  guess I'll have to be happy with 20.  That's my "new" goal.
Guess that's about it.  Enjoying my last day off before back to work tomorrow.
